Ad Ops Specialist - Paid Search

Job Description:


AdMedia is looking for a hardworking, ambitious, multifaceted self-starter with experience in online search advertising marketing and media to join our Ad Ops team! Knowledge of and experience in digital media is required. Initial and ongoing technical training on our products and services will be provided.

The Ad Ops Specialist’s core role will be to traffic, schedule & maintain digital ad campaigns in our ad tech systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks: creative QA and testing, campaign set-up and launch, optimizations, budgeting, and troubleshooting. This is a full-time, remote position.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on time and fully executed trafficking of campaigns, campaign performance optimization, troubleshooting, budget management, and reporting according to the insertion orders
  • Implement Google Tag Manager and/or call tracking when appropriate for campaign tracking
  • QA and troubleshoot creative submissions and ensure that they adhere to technical specifications and ad policy
  • Diagnose ad serving problems and interface with the team to identify solutions
  • Learn and follow the specific procedures for campaign implementation when new technology or additional ad management systems are introduced.
  • Assist with documenting, updating, and maintaining ad specs, trafficking, and workflow procedures
  • Maintain up to date certifications from ad serving platforms
  • Independently manage and ensure that all elements of advertising programs are implemented in an accurate and timely manner to ensure complete and accurate fulfillment of contracts
  • Monitor any campaign delivery via third party and internal ad serving systems for quality assurance/quality control and to ensure campaigns are running as contracted
  • Manage delivery and campaign pacing
  • Create and manage creative and technical production timelines to ensure campaigns launch in a timely manner
  • Provide proof of performance reports and screenshots
  • Develop a deep knowledge of AdMedia’s digital products, industry issues, trends and ad serving solutions


Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with digital media ad servers – the Trade Desk, Basis by Centro, Google Ads, DFP/GAM is preferred, RTB experience a plus
  • 2+ years’ experience in ad operations/campaign management on marketer side (publisher side is a plus)
  • Familiar with various online creative formats (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript, Flash, Rich Media)
  • Supply-side and demand-side ad tech experience a plus
  • Experience entering data into software programs and performing tasks which require accuracy, efficiency, and technical skill
  • Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills
  • Quick learner, analytical thinker and able to rapidly acquire and apply technical skills under tight deadlines
  • Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Speak and write in an eloquent and clear manner via email, phone, online platform (Zoom, Hangouts)
     

Preferred Skills and/or Certifications: 

  • Google Advertising Certification (Ads, Display, Mobile, Video, Shopping)
  • Google Analytics (Advanced)
  • Google Tag Manager experience
  • The Trade Desk Certification
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Office, and/or CRM tools
